FAQs

Unfortunately you can’t force someone to jump into therapy. What you can do is gently prompt them to chat with someone. Share an episode of The Mindful Men Podcast with them to prompt a conversation that sparks change from within.

Mindful Men is a counselling service for boys and men in Australia; but we do it differently! We like to take therapy out of the clinic and into community. We’re relaxed about it, because we find this helps our clients to feel more comfortable.

Counselling is just one aspect of Mindful Men. We are also able to run workshops and corporate training packages to support workplaces to improve their emotional intelligence. Contact us for a tailored package for your organisation.

We charge between $193.99 per hour for our social worker (private and NDIS clients) and $243.00 per hour for WorkCover clients. We charge $156 per hour for our counsellor (private and NDIS clients). For sessions conducted outside of the clinic, travel charges apply.

At Mindful Men its less about age, and more about connection. If we’re able to connect, then we can go from there!

We’re based on the Sunshine Coast in QLD. In person support is available between Gympie, Noosa, Sunshine Coast, Moreton Bay, Tweed Heads, Gold Coast, Logan, North Brisbane and South Brisbane areas. Telehealth is available Australia wide.

We also offer services to international clients via Zoom (excluding US and Canada)

Unfortunately not at this stage. We are working on this, and hope to be registered in the near future.

Yes! As an unregistered NDIS provider, we support self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants through their Capacity Building budgets.

Sessions run for 50 minutes, with an additional 10 minutes allocated for case notes.
